I was wondering if anyone happened to know whether or not there are any plans to move Portland Approach Control, Bangor Approach Control and Cape Approach into Boston Consolidated TRACON.

I heard from a TMC at the facility that he heard there are long term plans to consolidate PWM, BGR, BTV, K90, and Y90 into BCT within the next 5-10 years but I haven't seen anything convincing evidence yet.

I am surprised that they would consolidate Y90 (Bradley TRACON) into BCT considering that they have a fairly new facility down in Windsor Locks. All the other approach controls I understand why they would want to consolidate them.
