She's talking too fast and has an accent?Huh?  What an idiot.  I love how the other pilots are wishing the controller good luck as they get handed off.  I can't believe he actually said "don't bother me anymore".  This moron is an instrument rated pilot???

Had I been in this controllers position, my instructions would have been something along the lines of "Expedite descent to 16,500."  Followed by "Squawk 1200".

Wow, that was pretty bad. Unfortunately, a somewhat regular occurrence.

... made me laugh, too - you don't hear very often that the pilots feel the need to wish the controller good luck...  cheesy

"Upon reaching destination, contact New York Center for possible pilot deviation.  Advise ready to copy."

I seriously hope this recording makes it to the FAA, and this jackhole never flies again.

If the Flightaware track is accurate he never even came close to being on V16.

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N1956S/history/20120617/1700Z/KHVN/W29

That track never got above 6k ft.  Can't be the correct one.

All of the audio seems low quality to me, hard to follow, really mushy sound. may reflect the the signal processing rather than the original source, especially since so many are mushy. I don't hear any accent on the part of the AT controller.  Probably the heat!

I finally got a chance to go through the archives and pull out all the calls between N1956S and ATC for this flight. Sounds like things began to fall apart before he even begins to taxi...

Some of the audio is poor quality, but I kept everything I could find that was related to this flight (or comments about this flight  wink)

"This aircraft is not available for public tracking per request from the owner/operator."

Someone's embarrassed.  grin

His tracking is indeed blocked now. Well, embarassment would be a good sign: a step to accepting he didn't perform well then. Also means he has learnt something and could actually improve.

However, it's more likely that he's just unhappy with FlightAware: their tracks are so inaccurate and completely off!!! Remember:

People compliment me on how accurate my instruments are!

So, flightaware was clearly wrong. And the controllers' radars. And the other pilots. And the rest of the world... wink
