An American Airlines Airbus A321-200 performing flight AA-428 from Charlotte to Denver was in the initial climb out of Charlotte's runway 36C when the crew stopped the climb at 6000 feet MSL reporting smoke in the cabin. The aircraft returned to Charlotte for a safe landing on runway 36R about 12 minutes after departure. Following inspection by emergency services the aircraft taxied to the apron.
I've included the only interesting audio from this incident I could find in the archives.
