I dont know much about planes but what effect would that have on the wing?

The wing would be significantly crippled due to an inefficient passing of air along the airfoil.  It was good that they grounded it.

Good post! Why so sure this is bad taxiing by the pilot??? It appears the truck was parked over the white line. Granted the pilot is ultimately responsible for his airplane. However if the pilot is following the taxi line, then it's pretty hard to definitely say it was bad taxiing.
