Was listening to JFK tower this morning, around 1325z.  Takeoff/landing on the 4s, when all depts over wavey and shipp were stopped due to volume/wx.  Gridlock was getting bad and the taxi in was becoming difficult.  Tower reported the ground controllers were very busy due to "they had a billion planes" taxiing.  That's what I call a busy day!  I guess that's why I just love taxiing around JFK.  It all begins a little after the 25:00 minute mark of the 13z archive and into the 1330 archive (both are attached)
