American Airlines 1586 makes emergency landing at LAX with blown tire.  Attached is the audio and below is the picture of the flightaware flight path.

Wow, in the days of high fuel prices, AA must have been extremely disappointed to see all this JetA burned up going nowhere.

Okay.. I can see circling over SXC, but sending him out to near PDZ where the streams for the RIIVR1 arrival come in at is crazy! That would take some absolutely insane sequencing! It would be great if we could hear the Downey and Empire sectors for this!
