BAW32N at KMIA unreliable airspeed 8-Apr-2014

Aviation Herald article

Miami Departure, Arrival, and Tower included. The aircraft spent about two hours on Miami Center frequency while the pilots worked the problem and dumped fuel, but there was no LiveATC coverage there. Dead air and unrelated transmissions cut, but I kept in a few other interesting exchanges, including LCO1106 with a minimum fuel situation and a GA pilot negotiating his way into KMIA. Tower controller was inconvenienced by a Fire commander who might benefit from a radio phraseology refresher course.
