Is it just me, or do the Boeing GPWS callouts sound much more intelligent than the airbus? I don't like an airplane calling me a retard anyway

Only an Airbus would call you a retard. Sounds like a depressed Brit getting winded making the altitude callouts.
Maybe the "retard retard retard" portion would make a good ringtone.
"Retard... retard... retard"
Oh, there's the wife again... hang on a minute.

yes i agree with that. But boeing still use a wheel to steer where as when in an airbus you can treat it like a video game.

Thats hilarious...retard, retard, retard...
I like the ringtone idea...would work for my wife too!! LOL
The Airbus callouts remind me of a toy we all had when we were younger...anyone remember
Speak-N-Spell
?? Little red box, it would talk to you...that thing used to creep me out...
Just in case anyone wants to listen...below is Dane Cooks Speak-N-Spell...pretty funny...

Except with a Boeing's yoke, you are telling the aircraft where to go. In an airbus's nintendo joystick, you are only recommending to the airplane where you'd like it to go, and it'll decide if it is in the mood to do so.
Do I sound a little biased here?

I'm a little late on the response here, being that the date goes back a bit,
but I'm partial to Boeing. Better product than the "Scarebus" aircraft that the Europeans are building.
My personally motto, mantra is: "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going!!!"
