Allegiant MD83 at Allentown on Feb 3rd, burst both left main tyres on landing

An Allegiant Air McDonnell Douglas MD-83, registration N877GA performing flight G4-624 from Orlando Sanford,FL to Allentown,PA (USA) with 152 passengers and 6 crew, landed on Allentown's runway 24 but came to a stop with both left hand main tyres blown and was disabled on the runway. The passengers disembarked onto the runway and were bussed to the terminal.The runway was closed for about 3 hours.

What's strange is my friend was on this flight...
Thanks. I've been researching it since last night (Not too long but I found out about the flight number only about an hr ago)
