American 91 asks Gander ACC for direct to KGRR so he can watch Super Bowl

This pilot was running late and while crossing over Newfoundland, Canada, he wanted to change his route to direct. Didn't want to miss the Super Bowl.

I only got his request, not the ACC's final response because St. John's Tower (CYYT) is on the same feed and they were giving a landing clearance, so I couldn't hear the ACC controller talk back to American 91.

Judging from the sharp turn directly north of Newfoundland, I'd say he got direct KGRR...his track goes directly over-top of Grand Rapids...
