American A321 near Des Moines on Mar 18th 2016, electrical odour on board

An American Airlines Airbus A321-200 performing flight AA-2023 from Chicago O'Hare to Phoenix was climbing out of Chicago when the crew stopped the climb at about FL280 reporting an electrical odour on board.  The flight diverted to Des Moines, where the aircraft was landed safely.
