The news reports are saying the pilot and ATC were super cool headed after the bird strike.  I'd be interested in hearing some professionals.

the audio i heard was not very interesting.  quality was not great, and it was of two freqs. at the same time.  really hard to hear.

It's been cleaned up and posted here by your LiveATC buddies.  Activity starts at 1m25s and consists of tower asking traffic to "look in the river".
