A Great Lakes Aviation Beech 1900D, registration N218YV performing flight ZK-5150 from Pueblo,CO to Denver,CO (USA) with 9 passengers and 2 crew, was on final approach to Denver's runway 35L when the crew reported "Wind Shear at 24 feet" followed by "rudder failure", then reporting they veered off the runway at 06:29L (12:29Z). The airplane came to a stand still off the runway, the left main gear collapsed. No injuries occurred.

The airline reported the aircraft had almost come to a stop when the gear collapsed.

No disrespect meant to the KDEN feeder volunteer, but I was stuck in that airport during a thunderstorm yesterday (5/18) and I couldn't hear a thing on the tower feed except a persistent feedback-type hum and an occasional burst of static.  I don't know if the feed uses the wrong frequencies, or maybe is too far away to get reception except under optimal conditions.  I would have loved to hear chatter about the ramp closures and ground halt (lightning, hail, funnel clouds).
