Bird strike during take off
« on: February 18, 2008, 05:22:28 PM »
Found this clip of a bird strike at Manchester UK . I have to say I thought the pilot handled  the situation well and sounded calm but I would say the emotions in that cockpit at the being were a bit different.

Keep an eye out for  the old babe "The Concorde" in the background.

What superb professionalism all round!

I wonder if the UK authorities are chasing youtube for using British ATC recordings?  I hope they have more sense than to try (or better things to do!).

it's been up there on youtube and flightlevel350.com for the best part of 7 or so months, so my guesses is they either don't know about it (which i doubt) or they've let this one slide. :)
