Hi Everyone,
                  I've been an avid listener of this brilliant site for the last 8 months,but only signed up as a member a couple of days ago. When I first clicked onto the site all those months ago,the first couple of feeds were down and the next available feed was Boston.....I clicked on 'listen' and haven't looked back since!!! I don't think I could get through a day without at least once listening to the highly professional and amazingly friendly 'characters' at Boston,especially the tower......which brings me to the clip.
I too,like most of the people that listen to Boston regularly have discovered the 'lunatic' (meant in the NICEST possible way) known as John. What can I say,the guy is an absolute genius at 'people skills' and incredibly entertaining to listen to and by far my favourite controller to listen to. So for those of us in the fan club,here's a few classic 'John Moments'.
I'm not a pilot or ATC in real life (just a musician-the lowest form of life,or so I'm led to believe!!!) but listening to this stuff makes me wish I'd planned my career a little better when I was in school!!
But I do enjoy virtual flying on VATSIM whenever I can....and....as in real life,the Boston controllers on VATSIM are incredibley professional and friendly.
And finally,to end this epic post (I'll keep it shorter in future I promise!!) just wanna say a huge thankyou and big respect to Dave for making this wonderful site available.

Outstanding clip, Kimbers!  Thanks for posting it.

Maybe I'll see you on VATSIM some time.  I'm one of those Boston controllers, though I am getting less and less time to plug in these days.  smiley

What a classic....that one pilot was funny when he TRIED to attempt the MOCHA HAGoTDI phrase.  It has it's own distinct pernounciation.  He is just too funny and obviously enjoys his job!

Thanks for another great clip of em'.  One more to put on the Ipod.

I'd love to see how he'd work the finals on that ITAWT ITAWA PUDDY TATTT approach!

John is great though.. I still say we should invite him out for something at one of the VATSIM conventions, or even AVSIM.

Glad ya like the clip guys. I have a recording of a British ATC giving an after-dinner speech about flying which is absolutely hilarious!!!  cheesy  If anyone wants to hear some of it,lemmie know and I'll record/post a short 'taster'. (the whole CD is about 50 mins long)  Cheesy Good to hear you're one of the 'Boston crowd' Dave.

He needs to come work VATSIM.   Hey Dave, how 'bout sending an invitation to him to the Tea Party next year?  I'd love to work the cab with him! smiley  Boston is great airspace to control, both IRL and VATSIM/vZBW.

Okay.. someone.. ANYONE...

Please remind me not to drink anything while listening to his clips.. I've had to clean my desk now 3 times in the past week! Tongue cheesy

I'm getting out of this ATC business if they put a video feed in KBOS tower, and I see this guy dancing a jig while controlling! Tongue
