Mark:   C-FOGJ : Model: EUROPA XS
Basis for Eligibility for Registration:   Amateur Built - CAR Standard 549

Fatality: Believed to be one male individual

The gentleman was doing touch and go curcuits. Didn't manage to complete one.
He is the voice you here at the beginning; OGJ

Nice clip. Would  have been nice to hear the pilot but his transmissions are all broken up.  sad

Great post, but FYI, the plane that crashed was the monowheel version opf the europa XS. Not the one in the picture.

Here is the correct aircraft model.

Thanks for confirming that. I meant to post both versions but got distracted and forgot about it.
I should also correct the fact that the pilot did in fact complete one circuit.

My impression had been that he crashed on landing but actually I think he crashed just after his first touch and go.
