DL 137 JFK emergency...

Just caught DL 137 setting up for a landing, TWR said emerg. equipment is standing by, not sure what the problem is...

Is this part of the reason for the delays at JFK now?  There are also winds at 26mph gusting to 37mph.  Any thoughts?

EDIT:  The use of 31R only is probably due to construction on 31L/13R.  I forgot about that...

There was a flap malfunction maybe an hour ago. I don't remember if it was Delta, and I didn't stick around long enough to find out if it was fixed. Last thing I heard they were going into a hold... could be them.

Yes, I heard flap malfunction mentioned with DL 137. I believe they shot a missed approach then held for a bit, according to flightaware...

You are correct, I was listening as I was doing other things and couldn't post the relevant clips at that time. Thanks much for posting them, I was really posting this thread so I wouldn't forget the details when I got back to the computer (hoping someone else would have the details haha).   :-D

NO!
Delta 137 was arriving at KJFK from Italy.... Top most posting has a link for the flight track....
