Cirrus SR-22 down in Everglades
« on: November 14, 2011, 09:33:14 PM »
Unfortunately, I have a remote connection to this incident.  My close friend's neighbor was killed in this accident.  As of tonight (Monday) as I write this, the bodies have not been recovered, and the victims have not been publicly identified.  I know who they are however, and may God grant solace to their family in their grief and closure to them soon as many dedicated people are working to retrieve the remains of their loved ones, and to find out how this accident happened.  Listen, and learn, and eventually remind yourself to follow up on this- there were witnesses and we will know what caused this.  With those actions, we may all become better, safer aviators.

I was flying when I heard this on PBI approach..
And I think I know who the reporting pilot was too, What gave it away for me was Willis Glider port , since one of my dad's friends fly's out of there.

Condolences to the families.
