yah theyre nice... but how about when you sequence them inbetween 2 md80s and they slow down to 100 kts... break em out!

I am not  a pilot.  I am curious what pilots think of this plane, and the whole category with respect to the plane, the price and the prospective market.

I fly out of ABQ, where they pump these bad boys out.  Its funny watching the pilots who make the deliveries sit on the ramp for quit some time trying to get them started while im out there doing my preflight.

The jets also had problems with the pitot heat system and windshield cracks so they weren’t IFR certified for awhile although I think they got those problems ironed out.  They also were/are involved with a couple of lawsuits regarding the proprietary rights of the avionics systems as well as breach of contract with one of their suppliers. Layoffs through out the company also came about a few months ago as well, so yeah Eclipse isn’t out of the clouds yet.

Yeah he has an Eclipse my friend got to marshall him in when he picked it up. He said hes a pretty cool guy.
