There have been several smoke in the cabin / cockpit emergencies lately that we've heard about in the news.  This one didn't make the news as far as I can tell.  

And hey, thats a good thing.  Controller and crew does a great job.

Pick it up at 09:15 - departure controller.

Pick it up at 12:10 - tower controller preparing for the emergency aircraft.  Ends at 16:30 when switched to ground.  The LIVEATC EWR ground feed is very weak, cannot hear what happens after that.

Anyone have better ground control audio, 121.8?

Nice job of editing.  Too bad we don't have the ground control audio to listen in on conversation after the emergency aircraft exited the runway.  I see your edited audio was posted on the main page, good job.
