And Las Vegas has tons of helicopter traffic happening at all times. Police helos, medevacs going to the hospitals in the area, various Strip tours, helo runs out to the Grand Canyon, etc. In fact, there are published departures and arrivals for those tours.

Most of the time they are on Tower's helicopter control freq on 123.82, but at times they may be combined with the two tower freqs of 118.75 and 119.9.

BL.

Check out the KPRC tower in Arizona.  Anybody with a "guidance" callsign is a helicopter from a big school here.  They're pretty constant, though not quite as much as the riddle planes.  The little buggers can mess up the pattern a bit, but it's good to change it up a bit I guess.

Buttonville has a lot of helicopter traffic. Having two pads, plus a helicopter flight school.

Some callsigns you might hear:

CTV1. Local TV Station
Air2. Provincial Police
Canadian 79* (799 and 798) Ambulance helicopters
