Pattern work at Jackson International KJAN - Video

Pattern work at KJAN and KMBO  Sloppy approach seen on second landing at KJAN. Oh well, thus the reason I still keep working at this smiley

Always amazes me how ATC squeezes me in between airliners.

Jackson Approach and Tower are in the video.

Fantastic work! Your audio/video editing and time compression are phenomenally done! What software do you use? I'd prefer a wider view with more horizon and possibly some gauges or control input, but I know it's hard to find somewhere to mount a camera in the middle of the cockpit. And I liked your slow flight video too! Still need to practice that myself.

Thanks Chadan for the kind compliments

Windows Movie Maker is what I use to compile the final video product.

I use Wavepad (freeware) to edit the ATC audio (edit dead air or unneeded talk), import into Windows Movie maker and sync with the video.

If you can make such a nice landing after that second approach, you'd be an excellent IFR candidate. Not sure if you have your IFR rating or not.

Thanks for the kind compliments StuSEL.

I am IFR rated and actually have shared quite a few of my instrument approaches and procedures in these forums.

http://www.liveatc.net/forums/profile/?u=5072;sa=showPosts should show you what I have shared in the past here.  smiley
