Aloha Airlines Final Flight
« on: April 02, 2008, 08:23:12 PM »
The first clip is Aloha 441 which just landed at Oakland from Las Vegas. Tower offers the crew to come up to the tower. Aloha 441 then departs for their last flight to Honolulu Hawaii.

Already airborne, the second clip has Aloha 467 from Sacramento to Kahului (Maui), and Aloha 477 from Oakland to Kona Hawaii on their last flight out of the Bay Area.

Included is Ahoha 441's flight track and a snapshot I took of them as 441 flew past my place in Alameda.

Aloha Airlines went out of business and shut down passenger flight operations on Monday March 31, 2008 serving the mainland and Hawaii for 61 years.

Aloha and Mahalo for your service. You will be missed.

It's a shame, it truely is.  I'll refrain from the J.O. bashing, as there is plenty of it on other forums.

On a lighter side, whenever we're out flying around, and hear a voice like hers on the radio, we always have the need to say (to ourselves, not on freq) "Put your daddy back on the radio" or "Is this bring your daughter to work day?"

To all of the Aloha crews out there, good luck with your lives.  May Karma come around and serve J.O. what is coming for him.  Godspeed, and Aloha.

Nice I loved it.  I used to always hear Aloha come in and out of KSNA and now i wont ever again.  Very sad.

And any chance you set up a KOAK feed?

Hi Air Canada AJ,
Haven't set up the Oakland feed yet. It's definitely on my "to do" list.
I've taken 441 out of Oakland before and I enjoyed their service. Sorry to see them leave.

damn shame what has happened!!!

ive never flown on aloha, but have been to the west coast and seen their planes!  maybe its the kid in me, but i like ot look at airlines paint schemes, and all Aloha planes have that beautiful paint scheme, which was always a sight to see!   pretty sad that they are going out and pretty sad i wont see them in service anymore!

good luck to all who worked for this great airline!   take care!

Aloha!

cessna157,

haha thats hilarious by the way!  because i thought the exact same thing as i listened to it!   it sounded like an 8 or 9 year old!  lol     no disrespect to the Aloha pilots!!!

I've contacted Dave, for the necessary software to run the feed. Hopefully in a few weeks a feed will be up for KOAK.

*News Flash*
ATA Airlines. All flights cancelled. ATA Airlines shuts down due to bankruptcy and discontinues all operations which includes flights to Hawaii out of Oakland International.
Wow, two airlines, Aloha and now ATA went "belly up" all within a week.

One of the pilots is either a very petite woman with and extremely high pitch voice or she is crying.
