Nothing Like A 747!

« on: October 20, 2010, 10:47:11 AM »

"An Air Canada Airbus A320-200, registration C-FNVU performing flight AC-1150 from Calgary,AB to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 152 people on board, was climbing out of Calgary when the crew declared emergency reporting a hydraulic failure and stopped climb at 7000 feet. The airplane subsequently burned off fuel and returned to Calgary's runway 34 for a safe landing about 50 minutes after departure."

From AvHerald:

Below is a pic of the aircraft involved, Airbus A320-211 C-FNVU / 415 (cn 403).

Also below is the audio. The CYYC feed features only Approach/Departure, no Tower. So I have the bird from initial contact with departure until the were cleared for the approach. Happy Listening!  cool
