The Kennedy clip is absolutely awesome.  When I'm flying in and out of JFK and hear him on when I check in, I almost get a sense of relief knowing I had a level headed controller and not some New Yorker screaming at me.  This guy definitely likes his job and maintains his cool under the hardest times.

Awesome!

There needs to be more controllers like this -- i'm sure it's a better way to deal with stress then yelling on-frequency.

Flying into KDAL on monday, the guy on Regional Approach was handing everybody off with : "Citation XXX contact the tower now 123.7....Merryyyyyyy Christmaaaaas."

These guys always make the day a little funner. grin

I sure wish I had either of those two when I first went into Dulles. He talked way to fast & I have a bad head cold.

Thanks for posting it.

"Philly Fun" is awesome.  Any more feeds with this guy???

I think having a sense of humor relieves everyone's stress especially in a busy environment like a class B.  To me, being able to be concise yet have an edgy sense of humor IS professionalism.  Well done.

i sent a link of the guy from Philly to my brother, whos used to fly for Continental, and now for Spirit.  my brother says that hes had this guy before and what you are hearing is him on a bad day.   lol

apparently on a good day, this philly guy is 10x more hilarious.   keep up the feeds on him!

Yeah, there would be more controllers like this if there weren't more Radar Chiefs like mine. I told an aircraft to have a good day after switching him, the Radar Chief was in the room and asked if "good day" was in the 7110.65.
