EGPF Audio
« on: May 24, 2009, 12:41:47 PM »
Includes the daily Emirates 777, a BA emergency (at 14:35 ish, SHT2958), and the departure of A6-FDB.

Apologies if you have to turn the sound up quite loud and for the interference at the end, will improve this in future.

Hope you like it, can do more if popular.

Good work mate.
Do you reckon you'd be able to scan any ScOACC freqs?

Depends on what kind of scanner and antenna he has. The Scottish control freqs are funny things - I can't pick up any controller comms in Fife or Edinburgh, but in Dundee I can get high level aircraft and all controllers on one particular frequency with a handheld and the magmount on the car. I believe there are a couple of sites around Glasgow though so I'd suggest giving it a go, seeing what you can get and possibly posting some clips!

Just out of interest Bono, what scanner/antenna setup do you use? Do you record your clips down at the airport or at home?

If I can be of any more help, please don't hesitate to ask - In fact if you post a question the whole community tend to be pretty useful people  :-D

Oh- Meant to say - Sorry if my little tutorial came off a bit like it was written for a two year old - I have no idea how good you are with computers so I was just trying to make it easy to understand. Was reading it back and realised it sounded a little condescending!

Trying out a much better quality recording.
The first 20 secs or so is the old quality and after that is the improved.

Hope you like it!
