He did make a mistake about 7700, but this clip doesn't show that the was ignorant of the reserved beacon codes.  He just thought that all 77XX codes were reserved.  He probably thought the same for 75XX and 76XX, and just confused 7500 for 7700 when he referenced Hijacking, rather than emergency when discussing 7700.

WWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW and he's flying for American?!?!?!?!  Not to mention there's supposedly 2 qualified pilots operating the aircraft!  Dude go smoke another one!  I hope they're never the pilots of an aircraft I'm a passenger on.  I'm glad I don't fly on American.
