VH-ADK forced landing
« on: December 21, 2005, 08:25:49 AM »
Don't know why I didn't post this earlier, but I recently heard this aircraft back in the air and was reminded of its "adventures" last year when it was almost destroyed in a forced landing about 4 Km's from my house. All comms on this file were tagged to two nearby CTAF frequencies, so no ATC involvement. The comms are a little disjointed but intelligible. The change in the background noise of the affected aircraft transmissions are interesting. Plus the way the other aircraft in the area respond quickly is heartening.

Wow! Talk about remaining calm. ADK sounds like he makes a forced landing every day...

From what I understand, some of the oldest clips were lost a couple of years back when the forums switched to new software.

There is no clip on this post, unfortunately, and it can't be retrieved.
