We've had some horrible hot and dry weather here this year.  In fact, I don't think it's rained since 2005.  One idiot flipping a butt out a car window is all it takes to destroy thousands of acres and dozens of peoples' homes.

We've had some pretty bad fires burning east of SFB for a few days now.  I caught this clip of the tower talking to a news chopper pilot about the fires.

Heh, yea.  I didn't hear what it was.  Most like a turtle - we have lots of those on the airport property.
