"The FAA has identified the deceased as Steve Bown of Commerce Township and Kayrn Martin. It is thought that the two are related. Bown was the president of an auto supply company, PSI Performance Springs."

The aircraft involved is a Cessna 350, and was on it's way to Florida when the accident took place. The aircraft crashed into a lake shortly after takeoff. The cause is not known at this time.

PSI Performance Spring makes valve springs for high-performance race engines, including NASCAR and INDY Series Engines and is based in New Hudson, MI.
