CYYZ status (9/27/2010)

The CYYZ feed is a few days from being active again.  The new feeds will be:

CYYZ Tower
CYYZ Approach
CYYZ Departure

The Toronto Centre feed will be back in a few weeks, if all goes well.

More status updates will be posted here and the liveatc Twitter feed.

Please do not email for status updates.

CYYZ is back online - two feeds:

Tower
Arrivals

New Departure feed will be online in a few days.  Toronto Centre to follow but that may take a little longer.

Can the frequecies be grouped for Tower, Arrival and Departure as they were, as an option for when it's not busy on the individual frequencies? (It's also adds a little something to hear the handoffs.)

There will be:
- Tower
- Approach
- Departure (a day or two more)
- Center (will take a few weeks for this to return)

That will be the final grouping.

You can open two players or two feeds can be combined on my end.  Which two are you interested in listening to simultaneously?

Tower with Arrival with Departure. This way, you can hear handoffs and observe how arrivals are kept separate from departures. And at quiet times, there's more activity monitoring three at once. Thanks...Tony

Im a long time lurker first time poster. I have to admit what your doing here is amazing. Good to see you guys are working on the YYZ feed. I live out in the YOO area so im just far enough out where I only get air to ground, any closer and I would have had a feed up =). Anyways I just wanted to say hi to all the regular posters as I feel like Ive almost come to know some of you after coming here every day for 2 years and reading. Maybe I wont be a stranger anymore.

I live close enough to YOO to get all comms. Ground is a bit fuzzy. At the end of the month I can go get some things I need to plug my scanner into the PC.
