Feeder site antenna upgrade (KSFO/KOAK)
« on: January 27, 2014, 11:21:51 AM »
I'll be upgrading my San Francisco Area antennas in the next few days.
Doubling my antenna height using a telescoping fiberglass mast along with Phillystran® Guy lines for the project.
There may be brief signal outages as I switch the coax around as well?

We'll do!

I originally wanted to do a timelapse video, but that would have been a project on it's own!  :-D

I'll take some photos tonight.

Beam antenna aligned. Took longer than I thought, and it got dark and cold on the roof so I came back down.

Still need to caulk with roofing tar tomorrow and take some photos.

Sounds good, Ken…I have a lot of antenna work stacked up here on the East coast…just too cold to do much of it.  :-)

Photos are up. Sorry guys for the little delay. I ended up with a nasty cold and it was just today that I had enough energy to do some finishing touches and take some photos.  :-)
