Network outage today due to ISP swap.   The feed PC needed to be changed anyway so I will be doing that tomorrow night.

ALl JFK feeds will be back tomorrow evening.

Just my luck. I was on Delta 141 yesterday from Brussles to JFK and had an aborted landing. Was looking forward to listen to the ATC feed to see what happened.

Don't know what you've got until you lose it. I miss the ROBER feed bigtime. Hope it is only a temporary outage.  sad

Only temporary.  Possibly an audio cable got bumped when we wrapped things up - was pretty sure we tested it all but it was a bit rushed.  Should be getting it fixed tonight.

CAMRN is back.  Seems like they are using CAMRN and Final right now.  125.7 is silent at the moment - hope they are just not using it and it's not a dead receiver (unlikely).  I don't hear anyone getting handed off to 125.7 either so maybe it's just not in use.

Not sure what's going on with ROBER. Anyone have any info?

The traffic from the notheast is not coming in on CAMRN either.

Dave, perhaps just a point of personal preference, but IMHO the JFK tower feed is less listenable with one of the freqs, in this case 119.1, set to priority. This continually interrupts transmissions on 123.9 and the class B transit freq.

Some may like this, but I get a more complete picture of what's happening if no frequency cuts another in mid-transmission but whichever freq is active remains so until that one goes silent.

Any way a scanner is set is a compromise. Some things are missed if one channel isn't prioritized, but once an exchange begins you can hear the full exchange.

For me that's a better listening experience... be interesting to know if others agree or disagree.

Keep up the good work.

Based on some info supplied to me regarding 125.7...

"The frequency was out of service for a while, due to Radio Frequency
Interference".

Any chance that it is now back in use.

We are having issues with our ROBER receiver.  I do not have an ETA on when we will have it back online.

Just as an FYI, I have also been informed with regard to JFK...."expect some frequency changes in the near future"

Ground feeds audio seem to be very high and clipping.

Not a fan of the priority setup either. If there are only two radios available it would be far better to just drop the VFR transit frequency and only monitor the two primary Tower frequency's ONLY. This policy of scanning multiple busy frequencies to try and please everyone just makes the feeds hard to listen too.
