All,

My apologies.  The DSL modem at the feed site experienced a hardware failure at 9:59pm EDT last night.

Verizon will be replacing tomorrow....

You can check status at:
http://www.newarktower.com

Thanks,
-Jonathan

Jonathan - If you are the feeder for KEWR, any chance on getting the "Final Vector" approach freq for KEWR (128.55) included as a separate offering if possible? I'd be willing to assist with a donation of either cash or  equipment (spare PC etc.). I'd feed it myself but I don't live anwyere near where I could cover the feed.  Sadly, I don't live near anything worth covering.  sad

If you aren't the feeder, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction if you could.

Thanks & Regards,

Arnold (mag3)

Hi Arnold,

Thank you for your kind offer, but I already have the required hardware.  The Final Vector should be added over the next month.

When I have a test feed of it up, I will let you know!

Thanks!!!!!!!

Hi Folks,

Apparently, there was a wiring failure outside the location.  It has been repaired as of yesterday.

EWR feed, and images at http://www.newarktower.com have been restored.

Thanks for your patience.

I will get working on the final vector this week.

I may do a Left-Right split, as I have seen done with other feeds, to keep the feeder machine as basic as possible.

I will probably move the feed platform to linux in the fall...

Really like the L/R split, but I find that the Right side audio is a tad low while the left side is quite loud if not over overmodulated

anyone else hear it?  It might just be on my side although everything else sounds good.

All,

The balance should be better now.  Please let me know what you think.
