KSYR to be down for a few hours today (Tues, 1/17)

Having a couple of bizarre Windows problems (cannot create a scheduled task to reboot computer every couple of days and computer loses IP address with router every couple of days) that have finally pushed me into reformatting and reinstalling Windows on the KSYR feed laptop.  I expect it to not take but a couple of hours.

I hope to have it up before the ice storm hits later this evening, since I expect that the frequency will be alive at that time with interesting chatter.

OK, as of 5:45pm Eastern time today, KSYR is back up.

It took longer than expected to install all those darn XP updates and SP2 bundles, but the laptop is now once again a virgin XP laptop.  Hopefully this will solve some of the stability issues with the feed over the last month or so, but I will continue to monitor nonetheless and rectify as necessary.

Check the archives...I think you will find they are more stable now.
