Just wondering when/if PIT will come back up?

I may be one of only a handful of folks listening to it, but I think it's great.

the pit feed is back up right now, sorry i was away for the week. it will be going back down on the 22 of august for about a week, im going to mco but after that it should be up. it may be down now and then because i use a laptop for the feed and the cooling fan works on it only works certan days so i try to shut it down every coupple of days for a hour or 2.

i noticed that no one listens to it. lol, its pretty boring now that pit is not a hub. the pit feed may not always be clear to. im working on trying to get an antenna but i dont think that wil happen anytime soon. im really sorry about that.

you dont have to answer this but do you live in the pit area, or did you live here or?

sorry, i dont know if you were talking about pit, or pit ops. i run both of them. the computer than ran ops is broken, it wont boot up. but, i may be able to get it up on another computer i have but it cant be up all the time.

i like the ops too. its very interesting. i especially like to listen to wings over pittsburgh ops and, snow removal in the winter. i just read your profile, it says your a airport engineer? sorry to ask but im curious what do you do?

What  freq. is PIT OPS on anyway?

A long time ago I used to get USAir operations freq. on VHF. (Once heard a captain advising that they'd better get a load of meal vouchers ready--catering at the departure city was supposed to provide full dinners, and had only loaded sandwiches, and they were moldy. He had a planeload of angy passengers) Then one day it just went quiet. I figured they must've made some sort of change in their setup.

I see the link as being up but when I try to connect to it...my AOL says that the network I'm trying to connect to is invalid or is offline.  Thanks for trying to get this back up as fast as you have been.
