ZBW/ZNY/ZDC (JFK Area) NY Feed

Just a quick update to this feed...I decided to add NY Center low sector 118.97 to the feed.  This frequency handles quite a bit of arriving traffic into JFK from the south.  You'll also hear southbound Newark (EWR) departures on this frequency as well as EWR departures going to the Carribean via oceanic routes.  The southbound flights get handed off to Washington Center on 121.02 while the oceanic flights get handed off to NY Center on 128.3.  Sorry to say though, the ground side of the transmission can't be heard on this frequency 

I only hope it's not too much for one feed.  Any comments would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Update on the feed...it seems NY Center is using 134.375 a lot more lately than 125.325.  And for some reason my antenna is picking up the ground transmission from 134.375.  The signal is rather weak but I think it is understandable.  It should make the feed a little more interesting if it stays this way...

Dave I know you had asked about this ZNY frequency some time back...I think you were trying to find out where it was transmitting from.  I haven't figured that out yet but if you're still interested I can keep an eye on it when I'm traveling around the area.  The DPK VOR/DME (Deer Park) is about 4 miles away from me and it's definitely not coming from there.

Hi Ron, Thanks for the feed! a favorite of mine.
I'm quite certain 134.375 transmits from the Douglaston RCAG in Little Neck, N.Y.

ZNY is once again using 125.325 today and not 134.375...so no ground side of the communications right now on the feed

Just a note to everyone that this feed will probably go down at some point during the day today for PC maintenance.  It should only be down for a very short time.

Antenna upgrade in progress for ZBW/ZNY/ZDC (JFK Area) feed. There may be some test frequencies dialed up during this upgrade...

!35.8 and 124.525 have been removed from the ZBW/ZNY/ZDC (JFK Area) NY feed since they are now on my new feed ZBW (CLIPR32/HTO31/SOUTHIE49).  In place of those two frequencies I've added 121.375 (ZDC High).  This freq hands off back and forth with a number of other freqs on this feed so it kinda makes sense to have it there.  Enjoy listening...

So today it seems that ZNY 134.375 is active again only this time it's not replacing 128.3 or 125.325 is it has in the past.  It looks like it's replacing 118.975...It's nice when the decide to use that frequency...you can hear the ground controller on my feed

Feed will be down shortly for emergency electrical work (new circuit breaker panel needs to be put in)...It'll be back as soon as possible.

Replacing the Pi power supply on this feed today with a new one.  This should allow a second feed to be added through the Pi.  The feed might drop out from time to time while all this is taking place...But the end result is a new feed
