It's at a commercial site, it's not a LiveATC feeder. Some kind of satellite receiver operation... I could tell you more if you were on the way to the morgue. And yes, there are amplifiers and various notch filters and such up in the head-end equipment enclosure at the base of the antenna mast. Grounding and bonding, like everywhere. Whoever installed it appears to have been some kind of a fanatic. I just thought there were some good ideas there that folks could make use of, like strapping the radios together and using thin coax patch cords (rg174/179 style) to reduce the clutter. There's all kinds of other servers and stuff in that cabinet, but all those radios are on one drawer that just slides right out as easy as you please.
