Missoula (MSO)

Not a fancy setup, but it works well. I'm fortunate that I was able to put the whole system right at the airport. The antenna has clear line of sight with the control tower, all ramps, antenna arrays, the Forest Service ramp and Smokejumper base, Medstar, and the departure ends of all the runways, so listeners can enjoy some really clear radio transmissions, including all ground communications.

At some point I'd like to install the electronics inside a secure cabinet, but for now I put some LiveATC stickers on the computer and radio to make sure someone doesn't come along and inadvertently unplug something without knowing what its for. The PC has TeamViewer installed, so I'm able to access everything remotely in case I have to reboot, but so far I haven't had to.

Enjoy the pics, and thanks to all who listen.

Chris

Thanks Dave. So far no one has unplugged anything, so the stickers must be working.
