ok the time has arrived. im purchasing my antenna, but with my newbie lack of experience i have some questions.
im buying the grove scanner beam, http://www.grove-ent.com/BEAMII.html, and i need to know what type of cable is best, im looking at getting a 100' cable but need to know what connectors to get for the antenna to the scanner(BC235XLT).

I thought the Scanner Beam comes with a 50' RG-6 cable with an F-connector on one end and a BNC male on the other.  If not, that's what you need.  If you get your own 100' cable, get RG-6 with male F connectors on it and on the scanner end you can use a female F to male BNC adapter.

Dave, I just got a new antenna from them and it came with 50' coax with Male F on both ends, but they include the transformer on one end to connect to the antenna and a Female F to Male BNC on the other end to connect to most scanners. If he needs to go 100', then he just needs another 50' of Male/Male F on both ends and a Female/Female F 'barrel' connector.

what company/website did you order from? maybe im looking on a different site. i emailed them and they told me the SCANTENNA, http://www.grove-ent.com/ANT7.html comes with all that, but the grove beam antenna doesnt.
