Title: When are you going to provide a feed for XXXX airport?
Post by: dave on October 16, 2005, 09:28:38 AM
Please try to refrain from contacting us with these types of questions.  Except  in certain instances, we have no control over where the feeds will come from, since most of them are provided by volunteers on a "best effort" basis.  What does this mean?  This means that:

- feeders sometimes use their computers and sound cards for other tasks, or have to share a home computer with other family members, so they may not be able to keep a feed going on a 24/7 basis
- you have no right to expect that a feed will be up all the time, or even most of the time, and asking whether a feed will be up again will not result in the feed being up again

If you are serious about a feed being up on a more consistent basis, please make a donation targeted at a certain feed, and those funds will be sent to the feeder to enhance the service (add a sound card, extra receiver, antenna).  Before making the donation, however, contact me via the contact form to see if it's feasible for the feeder to do it.
