124.075 and 135.1? N90
« on: February 21, 2009, 02:51:37 PM »
I happened to come across 124.075 and 135.1 for the New York TRACON and was curious as to what sectors they belong to.

124.075 is the LOVES sector over in the Islip Area.  Covers an area between Long Island and New Haven, approximately.  Low altitude.

135.1 - no idea.

124.075 is LOVES sector in the ISP area.
135.100 is SEALL sector in the ISP area.  They handle traffic around SEALL along V188.  I think LOVES and SEALL covers approximately the same area (SEALL's western boundary might be further east from that of LOVES), but the sectors are split by altitude strata.  Someone from N90 would have the specific details.

I've only been assigned 135.1 when IFR on V188.  if I'm shooting approaches at OXC, BDR, or HVN, I get 124.075.
