Dear dave,

If I could design and build a new aviation radio that can scan a number of  frequencies at an extremley high rate, then a listener on liveatc.net would have the ability of choosing or selecting a specific frequency or frequencies that he/she might want to listen to for a given geographic area.

I have no idea of what software you use or what its capable of doing which I would need to know before I start the design of the new scanner to meet your system requirements.

SETI uses a high speed programmable radio scanner to listen to &  record an audio data stream for millions of frequencies for a large part of the radio spectrum.

Do you think that there might be a market for an aviation scanner like this ?

Cheers,
