Kuwait International Airport (OKBK) feed is a very interesting feed which seems to cover a TURBULENT (both regarding weather and otherwise) and interesting part of middle east. Unfortunately, latest days it seems not 100 % (background noise taking over). Hope the feeder has some possibility to check this.

yes its a great feed. There are the odd audible issues such as background noise etc but I appreaciate a feed from this region.

good work.  wink

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback mjtibbz and axel. What exactly do you mean by 'background noise'. Like static do you mean? Or does it seem that my scanner volume seems to be too high?

Any info to help me make it clearer will be apperciated.

Many thanks,

Its only on some comms, mainly from aircraft I think.

Sometimes it picks up what sounds like loud buzzes/noise during some comms, which makes the voice in-audible, but it doesnt happen all that often.

Hi and thanks for your answer,

Sorry for delay with reply (been away for some days). My choice of word when trying to describe the problem was probably not so good. What I meant was that for periods (perhaps 60 minutes or so) the transmissions so to say were like “blocked out” and you could only hear an “sssssssssssssssssssssss” and during such periods you could hear very weak that communication did happened. May I should have described the phenomena as an “sssssssssssss” took over and you in background now and then (almost not recognizable) could hear ATC-communications.

Bests
