Air Force One in New Orleans...
« on: August 28, 2007, 07:49:13 PM »
for second anniversary of Katrina. I just heard it live (23:45 Z), and every transmission was received, I think. I'm waiting to get the archive. Pretty uneventful arrival and it was never interesting to me whenever someone else posted of the prez's arrival, but I'm bored so I'll go ahead and cut it up and post it.

Here it is. I've included a transmission or two from "Oscar 6" which sounded like it was in charge of coordinating everything. Again, it's not too exciting, but I did it for my archives and I figured I might as well post it.

Edit - Just noticed I was in wrong forum.

Bradythepilot- I am not sure what it so awesome about it, unless you like ramp freezes, airborne holding, and departures being stopped.  From an ATC standpoint it is usally a real pain when A1 comes anywhere near your airspace or airport.
