Air Nav-KlAX question.........

Per the Air Nav KLAX .pdf map........Can anyone explain the 3 linked "egg shaped" routes(?) just East of Foxtrot on 25 R ?  I have wondered this for a while.

I believe (from reading http://naco.faa.gov/content/naco/online/pdf_files/6th_IAP_Symbols.pdf page 7) that it's the displaced threshold marking...

You are correct. You may not land prior to the diplaced threshold, but you are allowed to takeoff or taxi prior to it.
Check out JFK 31L. That displaced threshold is almost 5000 feet down the runway. Most times the G4 is airborne by the time we get there!
