Air-To-Air Video Of Pan Am B747-121
« on: December 18, 2009, 10:27:22 PM »
For all you Classic Boeing 747 fans out there, here is a pretty cool video of Pan Am Boeing 747-121 N740PA (cn 19647/16) "Clipper Ocean Pearl". This video was shot in the mid 1980's over Florida. Lots of air-to-air footage, as well as a touch-and-go (5:16 mark)! Attached is a still pic of "Clipper Ocean Pearl" Makes one quite nostalgic...

I think I may have posted this next one already, but I think it's worth re-posting. Music is kind of hokey, but lots of good footage of B747s from Classic 100 series to 400 series in all liveries. Lots of Pan Am and TWA footage.

Without further ah-due, I give you "The Best DAMN 747 Video On YouTube"!!

Enjoy!  8-)

This one is pretty neat too:

It's a mini video documentary of "China Clipper II", a Boeing 747-212B N723PA (cn 21439/312), the aircraft that operated the 1985 flight to Manila commemorating the 50th anniversary of Pan Am's first Pacific crossing in 1935. The Boeing 747 made all the necessary fuel stops for the "China Clipper", Martin M-130 (NC14716), originating in San Francisco(KSFO), stopping in Honolulu (PHNL), Midway Island (PMDY), Wake Island (PWAK), Guam (PGUM), and finally Manila (RPLL).

I have attached a still pic of the "China Clipper II", B747-212B N723PA, and the original Martin M130(NC14716),  below.
