That's nothing new. UAL's been doing it for years disguised as "EconomyPlus".

But on United, not only are the Economy Plus seats closer to the front of the aircraft, they actually get a little more leg room, up to five inches. I've sat in Economy Plus seats...in my mind, the extra five inches is worth it!
