Just wondering if the actually scanner is stronger than one another, or if it is just all a matter of what antenna you have hooked up to the scanner?

as far as i know mand concerned i may be wrong here but it most definetly is the antenna.some scanners are different from one another in the respect of their sensitiviy to recieve signals.go with a scanner with the lowes uV total is what i have been told in the air frequency range.but in most cases ANTENNA ANTENNA ANTENNA  and the lead to the radio
