ATC in South Korea

Hey all,

I am about to graduate from Army ATC school and have been assigned to South Korea. Desiderio army airfield (RKSG) it is just south of Osan AFB. I was wondering if anybody here has any information about international controlling or any info about Korea. I am very excited to start controlling and get a facility rating.

Hi Rune,

Justin (ridejumpfly) used to be a controller in Korea at Osan Air Base.  I'm sure he'd be able to provide plenty of information for you and know for a fact he's got plenty of funny stories to share.  I'm not sure if he's active on this board still, so best to e-mail him.  He is now an instructor at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey.
